Consultation has concluded

We first approved our Otago Navigation Safety Bylaw (the bylaw) in April 2019, we then amended these in September 2020 to include the waters of Lake Dunstan.

We are now able to set our infringement fees for offences against the rules in the bylaw. We've proposed fees that can be charged to anyone who breaks the rules in the bylaw.

A table of our proposed fees can be found in the document library on this page here.

You can also view a table showing a comparison of the infringement schedules of the regions and districts in and around Otago here. We used this table to ensure our proposed fees are fair and reasonable compared to surrounding areas.

We want your feedback on our proposed fees before 5pm on Friday 18 June 2021.

You can give us your feedback by filling in the form below.

If you have any questions please call 027 201 0592 or email harbourmaster@orc.govt.nz
